Privacy notice

Effective May 22, 2026. Plain-English version of how we handle data on hawaiiskymall.com.

1. Who we are

Hawaii Sky Mall is a California editorial trade name operating at 99 Almaden Blvd, Suite 600, San Jose, CA 95113. Contact: aloha@hawaiiskymall.com. We do not hold credit cards or process payments; bookings are completed at third-party partner sites.

2. What we collect

  • Search inputs (origin, destination, dates, cabin, passengers) — held in your URL only, not persisted server-side.
  • Cookie acknowledgement flag — a single hsm_aloha_v1 entry in your browser's localStorage so we don't show the cookie notice twice. No identifier.
  • Server access logs — IP address, timestamp, requested URL and user-agent kept by our Cloudflare edge for 30 days for security and abuse mitigation.

3. What we do not collect

  • No analytics scripts (no Google Analytics, no Meta pixel, no Hotjar).
  • No advertising networks. No retargeting.
  • No login system. No persistent user identifier.
  • No payment data. We never see your card number.

4. Third-party links

Clicking "View at …" or any carrier tile takes you to a third-party site (Kayak, Priceline, CheapOair, Hopper, Orbitz, Skyscanner, Google Flights, or an airline's own website). Those sites have their own privacy notices. We pass only the search parameters in the URL — we do not include any identifier of you.

5. Your rights

California residents have the right under the CCPA/CPRA to know, delete, and opt out of "sale" of personal information. Since we do not sell, share, or store identified personal information beyond access logs, there is nothing to "delete" in a meaningful sense. You can request a copy of access logs containing your IP by emailing aloha@hawaiiskymall.com.

6. Children

This site is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children.

7. Changes

We update this notice when our practices change. The effective date at the top reflects the latest revision. Material changes are posted as a banner notice for 30 days.
